MILWAUKEE (AP) - Four helicopters will be landing in downtown Milwaukee for an EMS convention.
More than 2,700 people are expected in Milwaukee from Wednesday through Saturday for the Wisconsin EMS Association conference at the Frontier Airlines Center.
The helicopters are provided by Flight for Life, Ministry Spirit Medical Transport, ThedaStar and UW Health Med Flight. They are scheduled to land Wednesday at the convention center's loading dock.
The keynote speaker is EMS Training Chief Mike Redshaw of the Joplin, Missouri Fire and EMS agencies, who will be sharing his experiences Friday with the Joplin tornado.
VISIT Milwaukee estimates the conference's economic impact at $1.5 million.
