Teen killed in fiery crash

JEFFERSON (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a fiery crash in southern Wisconsin claimed the life of an 18-year-old Lake Mills man.

The Jefferson County sheriff's office says it received a call about a one-vehicle crash about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Milford. When deputies arrived, they found pickup truck in flames.

A search found that a 17-year-old boy from Watertown had been thrown from the truck. He was taken to a nearby hospital with serious leg injuries.

One the fire was extinguished, authorities found the driver, 18-year-old Michael Ader, dead in the truck.
