MADISON (AP) - No challenges have been filed to signatures submitted by candidates running for offices to be elected in April.

Government Accountability Board spokesman Reid Magney said Friday no one contested any of the signatures submitted on nomination papers submitted by three candidates for the state Supreme Court and two for secretary of the Department of Public Instruction.

The candidates were to be certified for the ballot Monday.

Candidates had to submit at least 2,000 signatures to get on the April 2 ballot. Of the five candidates for those two offices, DPI candidate Don Pridemore came closest to the 2,000 mark submitting 2,051 signatures.

Incumbent DPI Secretary Tony Evers submitted 4,000 signatures.

Supreme Court candidate Vince Megna had 2,124 signatures. Ed Fallone had 3,323 signatures and incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack had 3,980.
