MILWAUKEE - The Forest County Potawatomi have announced plans to build a $150 million hotel next to their casino in Milwaukee.
The tribe says the proposed hotel would have 382 rooms, a spa and restaurant. The hotel would create about 995 jobs during construction and 230 permanent jobs, tribal leaders say.
The tribe says it still needs to work out financing and have local officials approve the plans.
Construction is expected to begin in late spring or early summer and would last two years.
