Scare outside Sikh temple

OAK CREEK - A scare outside Oak Creek's Sikh temple, just a couple months after a deadly shooting.

Temple leaders say a 32-year-old Maryland man entered the temple Sunday morning, carrying a backpack.

Security detained him and found several things in his backpack, including what officers are called strange writings about a deadly shooting in Colorado.

Police found ammo and an empty gun case in his car.

Officers questioned the man.

He has been released because officers say they did not think he was a threat.

Last August, a man shot and killed six people at the temple, before killing himself.
