MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Gov. Jim Doyle says he has not gotten vaccinated for the H1N1
flu and probably won't.
Doyle said he hasn't gotten it because he's not in the target
group of high-risk people health officials are urging to be
vaccinated. Those include pregnant women and young children.
Doyle says he wishes the vaccine could be distributed more
quickly, but he believes everyone is working as hard as they can to
make that happen. He says, "It's moving as quickly as it's coming
in to us."
The state Department of Health Services reported Friday that
so far Wisconsin has been allocated nearly 700,000 doses of vaccine
and has received and distributed about 500,000.
