MADISON (AP) - The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will celebrate a month of all things Chinese.
A host of activities will begin Feb. 2 and run through March 10. The centerpiece of the agenda will be an exhibition by renowned Chinese artist Xu Bing. University officials say Bing is scheduled to attend the opening reception at the school's Carlsten Gallery on Monday, Feb. 13.
Also on tap are performances by Chinese dance and opera groups as well as lectures, print-making workshops and films focusing on contemporary Chinese art and culture.
