MADISON - The state's largest union of educators is endorsing a candidate for governor.

The Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) made the announcement Wednesday afternoon.

If a recall election takes place, the group is behind Democratic candidate Kathleen Falk.

Members say when making the decision, they focused on things like commitment to strong public schools and giving employees a voice.
