MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A state historical site is planning to stage a sequel to "A Christmas Carol."
Old World Wisconsin will offer a dinner theater play titled "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge" Friday evening and again Saturday afternoon and evening. The play centers on Scrooge's decision to sue the ghosts of Christmas and his late business partner Jacob Marley for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander and inflicting emotional distress.
The performances will begin with a buffet dinner at the site's Clausing Barn. The audience will then walk to the Caldwell Farmers' Club Hall to watch the play.
Tickets cost $65 for adults and $50 for children.
Old World Wisconsin features dozens of historic buildings relocated from around the state. The site is located outside Eagle.
