MADISON (AP) - The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board has certified which candidates will appear on the spring ballot.

The board on Monday certified five candidates for the two statewide races on the ballot.

Three candidates are running for Wisconsin Supreme Court. A Feb. 19 primary will narrow the field to two candidates before the April 2 general election.

The candidates are incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack, Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone and lemon law attorney Vince Megna.

There are only two candidates in the race for Department of Public Instruction secretary, which means there will be no primary. They are incumbent Tony Evers and challenger Don Pridemore, a Republican state Assembly member.

No challenges were filed to any of the signatures required to be gathered by the candidates to get on the ballot.
