GREEN BAY - It's Work Zone Awareness Week in Wisconsin.

This year's theme is "Safer driving. Safer work zones. For everyone."

The week coincides with the National Work Zone Memorial which is on display in the Lambeau Field Atrium.

The 20-foot long display contains the names of 1,400 people who lost their lives in work zones over the years across the United States.

"We have to train the public that there's normal everyday people -- husbands, wives, spouses, kids out there working. And if we don't train the public on how to prevent work zone accidents, unfortunately these cones, we're gonna have too many of the cones. There's already too many of the cones," said Ralph Miller, Safety Director at Michels Corporation.

The National Work Zone Memorial will be at Lambeau Field until Friday, April 15.
