Closer Look: How NE Wis. voted

We're digging into election results to show you how you decided in this year's elections.

In Wisconsin, President Obama won the state's 10 electoral votes by getting more than 1.6 million votes.

That's about 200,000 more than Mitt Romney received.

Here's a county-by-county breakdown.

It turns out both Obama and Romney each won 36 counties.

But President Obama took the two biggest prizes.

He won Dane County by almost 132,000 votes.

He took Milwaukee County by about 267,000 votes.

There was a lot of Republican red here in Northeast Wisconsin.

President Obama won only four area counties: Winnebago, Marquette, Door, and Menominee.

But it is important to note many of the final tallies in other counties were close.

For example, the win differential in Outagamie County was about 1,700.

In Brown County, Romney won but by only 2,300.
