APPLETON - A pickup truck belonging to a member of Rep. Steve Kagen's campaign staff was moved Tuesday morning. Police have no suspects and have not made any arrests.
The staff member was parked in the lot of The Good Company in order to hold up signs at the nearby intersection of Richmond and College Avenues, according to Kagen spokeswoman Alison Jaslow.
When the man returned to his truck - which contained Kagen signs - it wasn't there. The keys had been left inside and it was moved about a block away, according to Appleton Police Lt. Pat DeWall.
The truck was dusted for prints, but there are no witnesses, no suspects and no arrests have been made, DeWall said.
Kagen is running for re-election against Reid Ribble.
Jaslow declined to comment on the incident.
