GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Bullfrogs are just a week away from opening their season, but could be quite a bit further away from breaking ground on a new stadium.
The Bullfrogs announced today they will not break ground on a new multi-use facility during the month of May as previously hoped.
The team has lined up some state and independent financing, but owner Jeff Royle told Fox-11 he is still waiting for all of the pieces to fall into place with the city.
Right now there are a number of sites still being considered, including one on a plot of city land on the waterfront of the Fox River.
The team is still optimistic they will have a venue and break ground in time to play next year.
