Packers form practice squad

Former Bengals RB Johnson added

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have signed eight players to its practice squad.

Tackle Chris Campbell, linebacker Robert Francois, tackle Breno Giacomini, quarterback Graham Harrell, running back James Johnson, safety Anthony Levine, linebacker Maurice Simpkins and wide receiver Chastin West were all signed.

Johnson, a Kansas State graduate, entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent in 2008 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played in four games in ’08 with the Bengals and was also on its practice squad in 2008 and 2009. Johnson was also with Cincinnati during the pre season and spent time with the Minnesota Vikings in the off season.

The other seven practice squad players spent training camp with the Packers.
