GREEN BAY - It's national recruiting signing day today, as college teams restock the cupboards for the upcoming four years.

Lots of players in our area committed to their secondary education choices.

Kimberly has had a powerhouse football team the last few years, and had two players commit to division one schools today.

Mike Hardy is headed to Iowa, while Colten Heagle, the stand out running back, will be headed to North Dakota State.

"It's just real exciting," said Hardy. " I committed during the summer, and that's kind of when the recruiting came to an end, but now this is finally signing, and you're ready to go there, I can't wait to get down there during the summer."

Showing you don't have to be a state football team every year to get athletes headed to division one.

Cody Evers is a big guy, and is headed to a big school in the Big 10, signing on the dotted line to head to Indiana today.

Evers had decided to be a Hoosier before this football year, and says he can't wait to start the next phase of his career.

"Today is a great day. I was so glad to be there, to sign with indiana," said Evers. "They gave me a scholarship back in june, ever since then, I loved them from the start, all the coaches and the players, so can't wait to be there."
