GREEN BAY - The Gamblers will be seeking a new head coach. A source told FOX 11 this afternoon that Eric Rud is leaving Green Bay for an assistant coaching job with Colorado College.
This past season was Rud's first with the Gamblers. He led the team to a 41-15-and-4 mark and a berth in the Clark Cup Finals. Prior to his time with the Gamblers, Rud was assistant coach at St. Cloud State.
Rud has connections to Colorado College having played for the Tigers head coach in the USHL and serving as an assistant coach at CC during the 2004-2005 season.
The Gamblers are not commenting at this time.
