GREEN BAY - Green Bay Phoenix junior Kam Cerroni is leaving the basketball program.
The school announced Cerroni's decision in a press release Thursday afternoon.
“I have made the decision to leave the program for personal reasons,” said Cerroni in the release. “I have appreciated being a part of the program and University but feel it is in my best interest to move forward and look for a new opportunity.”
“This is a sad time for all of us to hear Kam’s decision not to remain a part of this basketball program,” said Phoenix head coach Brian Wardle. “On behalf of our staff, I thank him for being a part of our program and wish him all the best in his future.”
Cerroni played in 73 games during his three years with the Phoenix. He started 24 of those contests and averaged 5.6 points per game in his college career.
