OSHKOSH - The UW Oshkosh Titans overcame some early game sloppy play to beat St. Scholastica 55-10 to move on to the second round of the NCAA Division III football tournament, while St. Norbert lost to St. Thomas 48-17.
WIAC Player of the Year Nate Wara threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns, and added 136 on the ground to pace the Titans. The Titans move on to play Bethel University, who squeaked out a 24-23 win over Concordia on Saturday.
St. Norbert falls to 1-10 all-time in the DIII NCAA football tournament. They finish the season at 8-3.
