Ashwaubenon, WI - After a record setting regular season, the Green Bay Gamblers have finished it off with a win in the Clark Cup finals, beating Waterloo 5-2 in game five to take the title. The Gamblers got goals from Nolan LaPorte, Alex Broadhurst, Ville Jarvelainen, Sam Herr and Max Hartner for the all around team effort.
The Gamblers had won the Anderson Cup for the best record in the league, and used home ice to their advantage, winning the final game at the Resch Center. Sam Herr was named tournament MVP.
Head coach Derek Lalonde led the Gamblers to the Cup in his first season as head coach.
