Ledgers advance, Lions and Wolves see seasons end

GREEN BAY - Three area high school football teams had a chance to advance to Camp Randall on Saturday, but only one made it through.

St. Mary's Springs, the defending Division 6 champion will have  a chance to repeat as they ran by Iowa-Grant 54-14. They'll face Regis for the state championship.

In Division 5, Brillion lost in the state semifinals for a second consecutive season. The Lions fell to top ranked Lancaster 34-21.

Hilbert also came up short of a state championship berth. The Wolves fell 28-8 to Glenwood City in Division 7.
