GREEN BAY - Green Bay Southwest senior forward Aaron Moesch wasn’t in a hurry to make a decision on his college choice earlier this basketball season, but now that’s Moesch’s season is over he has made his decision.
The 6-foot-8 forward has accepted a walk-on offer to play at Wisconsin next season. Moesch said earlier in the season it didn’t matter where he went, he just wanted to be comfortable.
"I'm not leaning one way or another,” he said in early December. “I'm just going to wait to make sure it's the right decision for me. I'll know when it's the right fit.”
Moesch, who averaged 18 points per game this season, had received walk-on offers from Wisconsin and Green Bay and a scholarship offer from Eastern Illinois.
Moesch finished his career with more than 1,000 career points and in his final game, a regional final loss to De Pere, Moesch scored 15 points.
