Take 5
Five Most Interesting Games Tonight

  • 1. Xavier at Little Chute (boys): Last time these teams met Xavier beat the Mustangs in a regional final. However, less than a week later, before sectionals, Xavier was forced to forfeit the win because of use of an ineligible player, meaning Little Chute moved on. Tonight’s game should be fun.
  • 2. Notre Dame at Bay Port (girls): Last year, Bay Port swept the Tritons, winning each game in overtime. There’s no lack of star power in this battle of Fox River Classic Conference powers as Notre Dame features Allie LeClaire and Brianna Byrne and Bay Port is led by Chelsea Nooker and Claire Jordan.
  • 3. Sturgeon Bay at NEW Lutheran (boys): Travis Voigt and NEW has blazed off to a 5-0 start, while Sturgeon Bay is 3-1. These teams figure to be in the mix for the Packerland title.
  • 4. Freedom at Berlin (boys): Both 2-1 in the Eastern Valley Conference. Winner stays near the top in conference play.
  • 5. Wrightstown at Brillion (girls): Brillion doing just fine this season without last year's star, Kylie Moxley, at 3-0, so can Tigers pose a threat in an Olympian road contest?
