Seven senior boys basketball players from the area have garnered Division I interest like the area hasn't seen in quite a while, if ever.
Little Chute's Turner Botz and Kenneth Lowe will play for Green Bay next season, Ashwaubenon's Bennett Koch will play at Northern Iowa, Berlin's Toby Hegner will play at Creighton, Appleton West's Jake Verhagen will play at Eastern Illinois, Cody Wichmann at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Green Bay Southwest's Aaron Moesch has not yet decided where he is playing, but he is also receiving interest.
Also, De Pere senior Adam Beyer is headed to Division II Augustana (South Dakota) as is Sheboygan North's Ethan Guske.
The area is loaded with boys talent and not just this season, as non-seniors also are receiving Division I interest, including De Pere sophomore Brevin Pritzl, West De Pere's Cody Schwartz and Seymour's Sandy Cohen. Furthermore, Seymour junior Dakota Oskey has received an offer from Division II Michigan Tech.
