GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Gamblers 2011-12 schedule has been released and it won't take long for the Gamblers to get a shot against the team that beat them in last season's Clark Cup finals.

Green Bay, the United States Hockey League runner's-up, opens the season Oct. 1 at Dubuque, which beat the Gamblers, 3-1, in last season's championship series. That will be the coaching debut for Green Bay's new coach, who hasn't been hired yet.

Eric Rud recently left Green Bay after one season to become an assistant at Colorado College.

The Gamblers will debut at home this coming season Oct. 7 against Des Moines and the following night the Gamblers host Dubuque.
