MADISON - Wisconsin leaders are still trying to hash out final details for hunting and trapping in state parks.
A new law prohibits hunting within 100 yards of designated areas, like a campground.
But the DNR wants to take that even further.
After hearing public comments, it now wants to move back hunting dates in certain parks where a lot of people are present in the fall.
Officials will outline the plan to the Natural Resources Board next week.
