GREEN BAY - Once again the Green Bay Packers are playing a team they met and lost to already this year.
But will a week one meeting really mean much in a game like this?
The players know as the teams get fewer, the match-ups get tougher.
“Playoff, whenever you get ready to go in to the playoffs you know that it's win or go home so I think that intensity or level of urgency goes up a lot,” said wide receiver Randall Cobb.
“It's just going to be a tough, hard fought game. We know what they're capable of, we know their roster. We know what kind of guys they have over there so it's going to be a tough game. The run game is going to be tough; they have a great running back in Gore. They got a mobile quarterback as well. It'll be a tough game, it'll be a smash mouth type of football game and we'll be up for the challenge,” said safety Charles Woodson.
Here is a look at some of the key stats from the first game:
-Score: 30-22 (49ers)
-Rodgers: 30/44, 303 YDS, 2 TD, INT
-Frank Gore: 16 ATT, 112 YDS, TD
-Packers: 10 Penalties, 77 YDS
