GREEN BAY - It's "Donald Driver Day" in Brown County.
The Brown County Board issued a proclamation during its meeting Wednesday evening.
The statement recognizes Driver for his 14 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, and his generosity to the community.
Driver was not at the meeting, but in a statement said, "It's truly an honor to have January 17, 2013 become Donald Driver Day. I will always appreciate the special relationship that I share with the Green Bay Packers fans and I have so many incredible memories of my time spent in Green Bay and Brown County. I look forward to remaining a fixture in the community here and for many years to come."
There have been discussions that this may have been Driver's last season with the Packers.
On "Inside The Huddle" earlier this week, he said if that is true, he will have tough decisions to make on whether to play for another team or retire.
