BELLEVUE - Before Donald Driver and his family caught a flight out of town Wednesday, number 80 made one last stop.

It was at a home in Bellevue. FOX 11 had been there Tuesday to show her salute to Driver. While we were there, the long-time Packers fan told us of her wish.

"He is my idol. I was a cancer survivor, and I just hope someday I can get a big hug from him," said Angie LeRoy, Packers fan.

LeRoy, 78 years old, decorated her door to honor Driver's career. Little did she know what would happen one day later.

It was a surprise knock at that very door that was decorated two days before.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Come on in," said LeRoy.

Donald Driver saw Angie LeRoy's story on FOX 11 and wanted to help. She didn't have tickets for Driver's retirement ceremony, but really wanted a hug from her favorite Packer.

"So I said, I'm going to make that day come true. I will find her today, and give her a hug. So here's your hug love, Thank you so much," said Donald Driver, retired Packers wide receiver.

LeRoy did make it to the ceremony. Another FOX 11 viewer gave her an extra ticket.

But she says meeting Donald Driver topped it all.

"You make me cry," said LeRoy.

"Don't cry, it's supposed to be a happy moment for both of us. No more crying, I cried enough today. I'm done crying, yes, yes," said Driver.

So what does any Packers fan do when Donald Driver is in their kitchen?

"As long as you're here, maybe you can sign," asked LeRoy.

"I will sign whatever you need me to sign," said Driver.

He signed her purse, he signed her sign, and he signed her jersey.

"Nobody's going to believe this," said LeRoy.

"I think they're going to believe once they see the jersey sign and on TV tonight," said Driver.

And after a few minutes, it was time for Donald to go.

"Thank you love, are you OK? We're OK. Have fun and enjoy," said Driver.

"You too, I'm glad I met you personally," said LeRoy.

Donald Driver was on his way, but Angie LeRoy will have probably the best story to tell for quite some time.

"Shelly! Donald Driver was here. Donald Driver was here," LeRoy said on the phone after Driver left.

LeRoy says she was exhausted from the day's events. But a day she says she'll never forget.
