GREEN BAY - Packers wide receiver Donald Driver took part in the season finale of "Inside the Huddle" on FOX 11, and it was clear how difficult his off-season decisions will be. He got choked up talking about the relationships he's built within the Green Bay community.
The team's all-time leader in catches and receiving yards knows the Packers might not bring him back for a 15th season. He could consider playing for another team for the first time in his career.
"It's always a tough decision," said Driver. "It's tough."
Driver, 37, has long said he wants to play until he is 40 years old. He saw his role diminish with the Packers this season as he had 8 catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
"I think I can go to any team and be either their number one or number two guy, and be solid for another three years," said Driver. "The question is, do I want to see myself in another uniform? Does my family want to see that? If nobody wants to see that at the end of the day, it'll still be a tough decision. I've always said, I just want to wear that green and gold, and nothing else."
