ASHWAUBENON - Early morning dense fog made it tough on those heading out to Saturday's game.
Flights were delayed, out of both area airports. Enough so, some fans had to try change their flights.
Ron Jung is heading to San Francisco for the big game. His friends there, have the trip all planned out.
"They're flying me out, putting me up, got tickets for me to go. I got to sit between a bunch of 49ers fans, and root for the Packers," said Ron Jung, Packers Fan.
But on this foggy morning,
"The United flight was canceled," said Jung.
He isn't going anywhere. His flight has turned into a three and a half hour bus ride to Chicago.
Many passengers took the offer.
"We got to take a bus to Chicago? How does that make you feel? It is what it is. It can't be worse than this," said Frank Horsdink, Holland.
Arrivals and departures were canceled. Six flights in all.
The only plane on time was the charter flight for the Green Bay Packers.
Fans crowded the airport trying to catch a glimpse of their favorite players.
Megan Feld's flight was delayed. She got an unexpected autograph from A.J. Hawk.
"He's gorgeous, I like his haircut. He was very personable," said Megan Feld, New Franken.
Meanwhile Packers fans were making arrangements.
"There's still one shot here from American so, if it comes in I'll be able to get to Chicago. I have a different flight from Chicago to San Francisco," said Jung.
"If I have to wait until tomorrow and fly out, and I still get to see the game, it would be great. I just like to get there today, so I can be with my friends longer," said Jung.
