GREEN BAY - The mayors of Green Bay and Chicago have put a list of items on the line for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game between the Packers and Bears.
If the Packers win, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley will send Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt:
- 20 spinach calzones and 11 cheeseless pizzas from Connie’s Pizza
- 15 pounds of sweet potato, killer and regular hashbrowns
- An assortment of authentic Mexican food products including refried beans, jalapeño peppers, organic products, salsas, tortillas and seasonings from La Preferida
- Kasia's Deli: two cases of beef pierogi from Kasia’s Deli
- The "Sweetness Package" of 34 sweet, stuffed soft pretzels from Kim & Scott’s Pretzels
- One dozen BBQ turkey legs from MacArthur’s Restaurant
- 24-inch-long football-shaped corned beef and pastrami combo sandwich with everything except cheese from Manny’s Cafeteria
- Baked and grilled herbal chicken with brown rice from Miss Lee’s Good Food
- 45 pieces of fried chicken from Schaller’s Pump
- 25 pounds of tootsie rolls
If the Bears win, Schmitt will send Daley:
- Case of (bear) steaks from American Foods Group
- Three-pound chocolate football from Seroogy’s
- Case of "Frozen Tundra" wine from Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery
- 12 pack of New Glarus Spotted Cow beer from Pizzona’s Restaurant
In addition to the bet, if the Packers win, Schmitt will send Daley one pound of cheese for every point of victory margin.
