GREEN BAY - Packers fans will have a chance to get fired up for this weekend's playoff game at a pep rally Friday afternoon.

Organizers say the pep rally in downtown Green Bay will include entertainment along with speeches from Packers president/CEO Mark Murphy and Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt. It is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and is expected to last half an hour.

The rally is open to the public. It comes one day before the Packers' NFC playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The rally will be held along the 300 block of E. Walnut St. It is being organized by the city of Green Bay, Brown County and Downtown Green Bay, Inc.
