GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers had their biggest turnout ever of people wanting to help shovel out Lambeau Field on Friday.
The team offered to pay up to 450 people $10 an hour to clear out the seating area after Winter Storm Angela. Stadium gates opened at 10 a.m. Team officials said after they had let in the maximum number of shovelers, there were still around 750 people lined up outside the stadium.
Winter Storm Angela dropped four inches of snow in Green Bay on Thursday.
The Packers host the New York Giants in an NFL divisional round playoff game on Sunday.
