Packers get snow half day

GREEN BAY - Many people still had to go to work despite Blizzard Brianna. That includes the Packers.

It was a pretty normal day for the team.

The Packers didn't get a snow day. The team got a snow half day. Practice was cut a little short.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said he wanted to get his guys, many of whom are new to snow driving, home before the worst of the storm came through.

"You know everything started on time so we had a normal Thursday morning. I’m more worried about going home, in particular once it gets dark at 4 o’clock,” said McCarthy.

"Usually when you form a snowball, you don't want to make it too big, too small, we're at practice, we're throwing them below heads, don't want any helmet contact with snowballs, it's been a good two days of practice outside throwing snowballs at each other, so far it's looking good,” said tight end D.J. Williams.

We also heard from running back DuJuan Harris, he's from Florida, new to snow. Harris said he did well for the most part. Driving through roundabouts he said, that was a little bit of a challenge.
