GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have released center Jeff Saturday after he spent one season with the team.
The Packers announced the move Monday afternoon in a press release.
Saturday started the first 14 games of the season for the Packers before giving way to Evan Dietrich-Smith. Despite losing hold on the starting job, Saturday was elected to his sixth Pro Bowl after the 2012 season.
Saturday played 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before signing with the Packers in the 2012 off-season. He was named first-team All Pro by the Associated Press in 2005 and 2007.
