GREEN BAY - Cornerback Otis Merrill has been signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad.
The move was announced Wednesday by executive vice president, general manager and director of football operations Ted Thompson.
Merrill, a 5'11", 188 pound rookie out of Illinois State, was originally signed by the Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May. He was with Green Bay during the preseason before being released on Aug. 31.
