GREEN BAY - Playoff games are often won on special teams play. The Packers feel they have had very solid play this year.
In fact, head coach Mike McCarthy has said special teams have been the most consistent of all the teams this year, even with Mason Crosby's issues.
And lately Jeremy Ross has shown he could be able to take over for Randall Cobb. Even though McCarthy said it was Cobb's job, we may see more Ross on Saturday.
“I thought Jeremy Ross played extremely well, particularly in the return game. It's definitely an option. You can't be naive to the fact that, what he accomplished the last two weeks in the return game,” said McCarthy.
“I think a lot of repetition. I got a lot of repetition in the game, also having those successful returns. It was definitely building my confidence and especially against a team, doing it against the team we're playing, so... I feel good going in,” said Ross.
