GREEN BAY - The scene around downtown Green Bay shows it's time for the playoffs.
More than 30 Titletown banners were put up Thursday morning.
You can see them on light poles along Washington, Walnut and Main streets.
Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt had the honor of hanging the first banner. He says the playoff season is an important time for not just the team, but for the entire city.
"This is a community-owned team. A very proud community. And all the employees and a lot of businesses are pitching in to make this a very special weekend here,” said Schmitt.
A Packers pep rally will be held Friday ahead of the big game.
The rally starts at 3:30 along the 300 block of Walnut Street.
