GREEN BAY - Packers’ touchdowns on Sundays are more than points on a scoreboard.
They also mean money for local charities.
Wide receiver Randall Cobb and Sargento presented a check Tuesday to Paul's Pantry.
It's part of the "Touchdowns for Charity" program.
Sargento donates $500 to the pantry for each touchdown scored during the regular season.
"We all know that hunger is something that we all wish didn't exist but unfortunately it continues to be a problem year after year and this year is no different,” said Louie Gentine, president of Sargento.
"On behalf of the Packers, you know we haven't scored as many touchdowns as we had like, but we still have a few more games left and hopefully we can finish up strong and get a few more touchdowns,” said Cobb.
So far with 39 touchdowns, Sargento has donated $19,500 to Paul's Pantry.
