ASHWAUBENON - Four offensive players and three defensive members of the team have been chosen to represent the Green Bay Packers at the 2012 Pro Bowl.
On offense, quarterback Aaron Rodgers, fullback John Kuhn, wide receiver Greg Jennings and center Scott Wells were chosen. Rodgers and Kuhn were picked as starters. For Kuhn and Wells, it is their first Pro Bowl honor.
Linebacker Clay Matthews, defensive lineman B.J. Raji and defensive back Charles Woodson were chosen as defensive representatives for the Packers. Matthews and Woodson were named as starters, this is Raji's first Pro Bowl selection.
Several other Packers were picked as alternates. Kicker Mason Crosby, linebacker Desmond Bishop, returner Randall Cobb, tight end Jermichael Finley, wide receiver Jordy Nelson, guard Josh Sitton and cornerback Tramon Williams were all picked as alternates. Crosby was named a first alternate.
For Rodgers, this marks the first time in his career he has been named the starting quarterback for the NFC. This is Woodson's eighth Pro Bowl selection.
The Pro Bowl game will be played January 29, 2012 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
