GREEN BAY, Wis. - So let's take a step back here for a second and really see where
the Packers stand at this point in the season.
The Packers sit at 4-3 and in a tie with the Chicago Bears
for 2nd in the NFC North behind the Minnesota Vikings who sit at
7-1 going into their bye week.
The Packers have lost to the Vikings twice, however, the
Chicago Bears have yet to play Minnesota this season.
Now, although the Packers are 4-3, you may be questioning
just how difficult their schedule has been.
Of the four games they've won, those teams have a combined
record of 7 and 23...only a .233 win percentage
Of the three games they've lost, which includes twice to the
Vikings along with Cincinnati...their combined record is an
impressive 19-4...an .826 win percentage
Put those wins and losses together, the Packers opponents
thus far have a combined record of 26 and 27...just one game under
.500.
If you were to then look at the remaining nine games on the
Packers schedule, those teams have a combined record of 28 and
35...which means the Packers remaining schedule is technically
easier than the first seven games they have played this season.
So it's not time to worry yet Packers fans...unless of course
the Packers lose to 0 and 7 Tampa Bay this Sunday.
That game can be see at Noon right here on FOX 11.
