GRAND CHUTE- - The Burlington Bees went up 6-0 on Wednesday night against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, and held on for the 6-2 win at Fox Cities Stadium.

Burlington (8-17) got two in the second on a throwing error that should have finished the inning, but instead let two runs score.

Wisconsin (10-15) got their two runs against the Burlington bullpen in the bottom of the seventh. Brock Kjeldgaard lifted a one-out homer to left-center for his fourth dinger of the season. One out later, Edgar Trejo lined a homer to left. But, that was it for the Rattler offense for the night.

Game three of the series is Thursday night. Wisconsin has Trey Watten (1-3, 5.14) as the scheduled starting pitcher. Zach Peterson (2-1, 2.66) is the scheduled starter for the Bees. Game time is 6:35pm.
