Green Knights headed to the Frozen Four

AHWAUBENON, Wis. - The St. Norbert Green Knights men's hockey team is headed back to the Frozen Four after being Gustavus Adolphus College 3-1 Saturday night.

The Green Knights got on the board early in the first period when Shane Wheeler picked up a loose puck and fired it past the Gustavus goaltender for a 1-0 advantage.

The Gusties would even it up a little later in the first when a bouncing puck found the stick of a Gusties player and he hammered it home out in front of B.J. O'Brien.

But the Green Knights controlled the game from there, scoring two more goals and advancing to the Frozen Four in Lake Placid, New York with a 3-1 win at Cornerstone.
