GREEN BAY - Hundreds of Packers fans flocked to Lambeau Field early Monday morning to grab a shovel and do some major snow removal.
Fans were asked to line up outside of Mills Fleet Farm Gate on Lambeau Field's west side to help clear the stands, and they didn't seem to mind showing up so early- since the Packers are "World Champs."
"I feel really cold but I'm here because I'm a Packer fan and I want to do whatever it is to help the team out and support them," said Danny Nagasm, shoveler.
Once the gates opened... folks received shovels and got to work. One by one, both men and women, young and old, were shoveling the bowl.
But don't think you're working alone at Lambeau; snow removal is a team effort.
And even if it's winter in Wisconsin, there was one thing that kept these fans going... "We're the Champions! WAHOOO!"
The Green Bay Packers will also need help Tuesday morning removing snow and spreading ice melt at Lambeau Field.
Those interested - as many as 100 - are asked to report to the Mills Fleet Farm Gate beginning at 8 a.m.
Workers need to be at least 15 years old and will receive $8 per hour. The Packers will provide the shovels.
