ARLINGTON, Texas - Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, who goes by the Twitter handle @Jay_Glazer, has developed a reputation for breaking news on Twitter.

“Whenever you break a story now, you have to put it on Twitter first,” Glazer told FOX 11 at Super Bowl XLV Media Day. “That’s how people know if you actually break it.”

While many people use Twitter as a news feed, the service also allows for quick two-way communication. Glazer says that can lead to some unusual exchanges.

“There are a lot of keyboard warriors out there. A lot of stuff people wouldn’t say to you in person because you just don’t act like that. But you’ve got to just take it with a grain of salt,” he said.

Earlier this week, FOX 11 spoke with Packers players who use Twitter. You can see their thoughts on the subject of social media here.
