The ice and weather will not be great for ice fishing this weekend. Our recent warm spell has melted a lot of ice. Before you step on the ice, check with local bait shops and anglers to get the latest ice conditions!

Besides thin ice, expect strong west winds. These wind may detach ice sheets on the bay of Green Bay.

Here is the forecast for Saturday.

7 a.m. - Mostly cloudy, 28°, Winds west at 10 mph
Noon - Mostly cloudy with snow showers, 36°, Winds SW at 15 mph
