The heat returns to Northeast Wisconsin

It will be hot and sunny the next few days with highs near 90°!  Compared to last week's heat wave, this will be tame because the humidity will be much lower.  Remember just a week ago it reached 99° in Green Bay with a heat index near 110°.  Nonetheless it will still be hot so prepare for it, grab the sunscreen and drink plenty of water if you are working or playing outside.  Expect mostly sunny skies today and tomorrow then we have a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, developing mainly in the afternoon and into the overnight.  We certainly need the rain; since June 1st rainfall deficit is about 3" in Green Bay and you can see the impact it's having as people's lawns are more brown than green.

Have a great day!
