It was a wet October, what does November have in store for Wisconsin?

October was wet and slightly cooler than normal.

  • Green Bay: Temperatures were 0.5° below normal.  Precipitation was 2.48" above normal.
  • Appleton: Temperatures were normal.  Precipitation was 3.35" above normal.
  • Oshkosh: Temperatures were 0.9° below normal.  Precipitation was 2.81" above normal.

The November outlook issued by the Climate Prediction Center expects below normal precipitation for the western half of Wisconsin.  The temperature outlook is a flip of the coin with a 50/50 chance for above or below normal temperatures.
