Enjoying Blizzard Brianna

GREEN BAY - Chris Withers and his son Reese are zooming right along.

“Love it, can't wait for more,” said Chris Withers.

The biggest snow of the year is a big deal at Fireman's Park in Green Bay.

“Oh, it's great as you can see. We got some snowballs down there for snowmen, that packs up really nice. The hill, like I said, needs to be packed down a little bit more to get more speed out of it, otherwise it is good,” said Chris Withers of Green Bay.

And just a few blocks away,

“It's hard work, that's for sure,” said Ian Henderson.

Ian Henderson and his helper Izaiah Hegmann are struggling to make a sculpture.

“How is this snow?” asked FOX 11’s Eric Peterson.

“It is perfect snow weather,” replied Henderson.

High winds didn't stop the Mielke sisters from building a snow fort.

“The snow keeps coming so it gets in my face, and it hurts,” said Peyton Mielke of Green Bay.

But building snow forts isn't just kid’s play.

“Do you think this is big enough?” asked Barb Wittlinger.

She is transforming her backyard into a snowy sanctuary for her three grandchildren.

“This is my prepared place for them to crawl around instead of on my davenport,” said Wittlinger.

So while many spent the day shoveling and plowing, people here made the best of it.

“What do you like about sledding?” asked FOX 11.

“Going on the tubes,” replied Reese Withers.

And enjoyed what the lighter side of what Blizzard Brianna had to offer.

“It's a great way to spend the day, why shovel when it's going to keep coming? Let's go have some fun,” said Chris Withers.
